A New Look for Your Flower: Why Arete Is Switching to Black Bags

Your next Arete flower order may arrive looking a little different. We’re temporarily switching from our branded flower pouches to plain black bags, and wanted to give you a heads-up before you open your delivery. Consider it our little black bag era.

Why the change?

As cannabis regulations evolve, we’re preparing for potential changes to packaging and labeling requirements. Staying compliant matters to us, but the details of what future packaging may need to include are still uncertain.

Rather than commit to another round of branded pouches that may need revisions, we’re keeping things simple while we review our packaging and wait for clearer direction.

Plain black bags give us flexibility to adapt as those requirements become clearer.

What should you expect?

As we make the transition, you may notice simpler packaging when your flower arrives. This is an intentional, temporary change to the bags we use.

We know our branded pouches are a familiar part of the Arete experience. But while the outside gets a more minimalist look, our focus remains on the flower inside and the customers who keep coming back for it.

The bag is taking a wardrobe break. We’re still showing up.

Will branded packaging return?

We’re pausing our branded flower pouches until further notice. Once we have a clearer understanding of future packaging requirements, we’ll be better positioned to decide what comes next.

We don’t have a return date to share yet, but we’ll keep you updated as our plans develop.
