Pay with Bitcoin

Effective immediately: Bitcoin (BTC) will be the only cryptocurrency accepted by Arete.

1. Important 1 - Orders paid for with BTC will continue to receive our cryptocurrency discount. Currently, that discount is 50%. Please be aware the percentage is subject to change without notice. 
2. Important 2 - The BTC discount will not be applied to the product: THCa Flower Bundle.

There will be two options: standard BTC base layer (on-chain) transactions, and transactions via the Lightning Network. The Lightning Network allows for significantly faster settlement times and much lower fees than the base layer.

If you decide to use the Lightning Network you will have to use a compatible wallet (e.g., Aqua or BlueWallet), or use an exchange that allows you to withdraw Bitcoin directly to the Lightning Network. For example, both Strike and River support Lightning Network withdrawals.
